New Life in Puerto Vallarta Coming Soon!

For some reason, my old "Queenscapades" is no longer valid, so I'm starting anew.  Which is indicative of my life anyway!

"Soon and very soon...I'm go-ing to PV!"(sung to the tune of "Soon and very soon, we're going to see the King!"

I secured a storage in SB (so not TOTALLY selling off my stuff), and have been taking thrice-weekly car loads of "shtuff;"  tchotchkes, memorabilia, writings, kids' artwork, books, and most disconcerting, ten legal banker boxes that I have to keep for 8 more years.  (Can't wait for THAT bonfire!)

Fact is, if I keep living in SB the way I want to live, I'll be homeless by March 2020.  So, it's time to take the Mexican Leap (not to be confused with the Hatdance.)  I've been married twice, and neither husband was willing to buy a place in Puerto Vallarta, a dream I've had since I first landed there in 1984.

I'll never "own again," and I really don't care to.  So, on Feb. 8, 2015, I fly south, following the whale migration, just in time to see them arriving in the Bay of Banderas.  There are over 50,000 ex-pats living there, but I am not going that route just yet.

This is an adventure!  I'll stay with a friend in Sayulita the first 5 days, then head to Krystal Resort where I have timeshare - for a week, and hopefully by then, I will have secured an apartment.

Signs all around assure me this is a blessed adventure.  My mechanic of 17 years is babysitting my "paid off" Lexus (which should be my ride for the rest of my life).  A dear musician friend and her hubby will babysit my white baby grand and my two guitars, a Martin and an Ovation.  I am not ready to sell any of these treasures.  Thank you friends!

Lots of ideas, dreams, and travels ahead - all while saving thousands!  FOLLOW ME!!
